ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING...
Personal Care Services (PCS)-
Personal Care is a term we use to describe those delicate activities no one usually talks about: going to the bathroom, bathing, putting on undergarments.
When a loved one needs help with personal care activities, the situation may become awkward for everyone involved. Family  may feel embarrassed helping a parent or grandparent use the bathroom. Your loved one may be a very modest person who does not want a family member helping with these highly personal activities.
Many seniors worry about loosing their dignity along with their independence. Personal Care assistance performed by a non family member allows your loved one to maintain their dignity while receiving the help they need to stay healthy, independent, and living at home.

Our PCS tasks include:
  • Bathing
  • Toileting
  • Incontinent Care
  • Personal Hygiene/Grooming
  • Dressing
Ambulation/Transferring-
Mobility is important for maintaining health; yet without proper techniques and tools there is a risk for falls and injuries. Ambulation and transferring are important categories in patient care. Patients frequently need assistance to walk, transfer themselves to bed, a wheelchair, or the toilet. Our professional caregivers will be there every step to assist and protect your loved one from falls or injury. Our trained caregivers can help improve your loved ones mobility in assisting with:
Ambulation with a cane, walker, and wheelchair.
  • Fall Precautions
  • Gait belt
  • Mechanical Lift
  • Wheelchair use and safety
  • Range of Motion Activities
  • Transferring

 TRANSPORTATION...
Non-Medical Transportation-
Whether your loved one needs to go grocery shopping, pay bills, visit a friend, or maybe just a scenic drive. Right at Home Care's caregivers can safely transport your loved one to their wanted destination!
Medical Transportation-
Right at Home Care understands how important medical appointments can be, also with the rural area we live in a lot of the time medical appointments are more than a half an hour away, making it difficult for loved ones to help their elders to all needed medical appointments. You can relax and take trust in knowing that one of our professional caregivers are there to ensure your elder makes it safely and can relay all medical information.
